Forgiveness

There are two types of forgiveness.

The forgiveness in which you forgive another.
And,
The forgiveness in which you forgive yourself.

Forgiving Another.
While it may seem impossible to do this, our souls cannot move on holding a grudge. It takes time to rebuild trust and accept upsetting moments. God wants us to forgive, always move on from the past and make the better out of our situations.
-Everything happens for a reason.

Forgiving Yourself
One of the hardest people to forgive is yourself! Many people believe that they do not deserve to be forgiven and that whatever it is they did has now been glued to them for life. This is not true and it's not what god wants for us. Forgiving yourself is necessary to moving forward in your life and eliminating the fears of trying new things. If you need help, the best thing to do is to pray and ask god for forgiveness, and repent. If you feel you must talk to someone, there are many registered therapists in the phone book, and many even online.

grieving a loss.

Throughout our life we experience a great deal of loss, this being one large part of life that holds us back from moving on.
On july 11th, 2009 I was at my boyfriends house hosting his birthday party when I got a phone call from a detective. The words were shattering. My best friend, the one person who understood me, so close that we were apart of eachother, had passed away in her sleep suddenly. Needless to say, it was the worst day of my life so far. I spent the entire summer constantly around someone, I couldnt be alone. It still hurts more than any physical pain iv'e ever felt. Grief can cause an enormous amount of depression and lingering thoughts about bad ideas. No one can get through it alone!
I'm not sure at this point in time what to do about grieving and if there is one specific thing you can do to help move on, all I can say is that it's probably going to take a long time for myself and many others to think about the situation without tears.

It's obviously not healthy to stay stuck in one part of your life, and therapy may help. The people who helped me the most and are still helping are my closest friends, family, and my loving boyfriend whos been through it with me the whole way. It can seriously dammage your life to stay stuck in depression due to grief, and we're all quite sure that our loved ones don't want that for us. If you are experiencing grief, I would say the best idea is to seek out counciling, wether it be a therapist or even your pastor who can help you understand death.

I am currently stuck in denial after over 8 months now. It may not be healthy, but we all move at our own pace. Do not be discouraged if you are going through this stage as well and can not move on, you will eventually!

Trust in god.
Love in life.
Never stop trying.
