I must Post!

So I have decided that I am going to try out posting blogs as some sort of therapeutic ranting. I am not sure what I intend to get out of this or if anyone will actually read it. I do apologize in advance for any spelling or gramatical errors I may make.

My first topic then I guess will be stress and anger. Since I am using this as a form of therapy, this must mean that I need a de-stresser. I have seen what stress can do to someone, i.e. my mother. Unfortunately, most people who experience stress can only do such things as to promote more stress. Anxious people should be looking ahead into ways to reduce their stress even if they find that there is no way to ever feel bliss again.

Where does stress come from?
Many things.
Big stresser number 1? Anger
Anger is our way of dealing with a situation we feel we either have no control over or simply dislike.

How to deal?
Be Happy, yes, it's that simple.

-When something happens that you have no control over, consider the positive side of things, there is always a positive, even if its not a big one.

-Always be thankful for what you do have instead of focusing on the greed and unhapiness of not getting everything that you want.

-Catch yourself before you explode. As soon as you feel yourself about to burst out in anger, try to calm yourself down and analyze the situation.

-Don't sweat the little things. I have heard this expression many times, it literally means to not sweat over fine details.Noone cares that your nail polish does not match your outfit.

-Use positive words like I will, and try to say yes whenever you can and feel comfortable doing so. NEVER SAY NEVER!! This one is a dooozie. My boyfriend and I have had many discussions on the negative effects of the word never. When used in an angry conotation, the word never means NOT ,at no point in time. This can lead to the stress of not only an argument but also a personal thought of failure. When you think about the word never, think about what you are applying that word too and if you are using it correctly. To never do something can be a negative start to a choice. Always try new things, and if you must NEVER try them again, at least you won't be able to say that you've NEVER done it.
